Dr Sinead Brannick 

As many of you know, Dr Sinead has been with us since April 25 covering both Dr Clodagh and Dr Analiza’s maternity leave.  Dr Sinead is due to finish with us end of January 26. Dr Sinead has been a valued member of our medical team during this time and we would like to thank her for looking after so many of our patients during this time.

From all at The Parks, we wish Dr Sinead all the very best in her future career.

Dr Dominic Gilmore

Dr Dominic Gilmore will be joining the practice on Thursday 5th February to cover continual maternity leave.  He is a vocationally trained GP with an interest in General Practice and will be a wonderful addition to our medical team.  We look forward to welcoming him to the practice.  His sessions will be Monday, Thursday and Fridays am and pm

We are starting our Flu and Covid vaccine clinics from Tuesday 23rd September. They will run Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, subject to demand. You will be offered the next available appointment in the next available clinic. Please contact us on 01 8203303 to arrange your appointment.

Vaccination is strongly recommended for:

• Persons aged 65 and over
• Those aged 6 months and older with a long-term health condition such as
  • Chronic heart disease
  • Chronic liver disease
  • Chronic renal failure
  • Chronic respiratory disease, including cystic fibrosis, moderate or severe asthma or bronchopulmonary dysplasia
  • Chronic neurological disease including multiple sclerosis, hereditary and degenerative disorders of the central nervous system
  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Down syndrome
  • Haemoglobinopathies
  • Morbid obesity i.e. body mass index over 40
  • Immunosuppression due to disease or treatment, including asplenia or splenic dysfunction
• Children aged 6 months and older
  • with any condition (e.g. cognitive dysfunction, spinal cord injury, seizure disorder, or other neuromuscular disorder) that can compromise respiratory function especially those attending special schools/day centres with moderate to severe neurodevelopmental disorders such as cerebral palsy and intellectual disability
  • on long-term aspirin therapy (because of the risk of Reyes syndrome)
• Pregnant women (vaccine can be given at any stage of pregnancy)
• Healthcare workers
• Residents of nursing homes and other long stay institutions
• Carers
• People with regular contact with pigs, poultry or water fowl.

We have been made aware that for some EIR customers there is an issue accessing our automated phone system and therefore difficultly getting through to the surgery. Our phone provider has assured us this is an EIR issue however they are working on a temporary solution to enable all our patients to get through to us by phone. Apologies for this inconvenience, please be assured we are working on it from our end to resolve this as quick as possible.
