A walk through for our Patient
Your appointment – Our admin team will ask you the nature of your visit, or what the issue is – this is to ensure you receive the best care. Your reason for seeing your GP is private and personal to you, and we will always respect this.
We schedule appointments every 15 mins. The GP can deal with only one medical issue. If you need an extended consultation please mention this on booking, it may require changing the appointment to a different day and there will be an additional fee for this service.
The nature of our business means we frequently run over timewise with resulting delays. We are constantly working on better ways to improve this and appreciate your understanding. On checking in you will be told how many, if any, patients are in front of you. You may wait in your car or our waiting room.
If your GP needs to see you again regarding a result of an investigation, they will send you a text message inviting you to make an appointment at your convenience. There will be a review fee for this service.
If you need to get a message to your GP or to update them on a previous query which doesn’t necessitate a visit we can send your GP a brief message on your behalf. Unfortunately, it is not possible for any GP to return a phone call and if further action is required it would be advisable to make an appointment instead.
We understand how busy our phone lines are currently and the frustration this causes, we are actively working on improving this and thank you for your patience.
Please do not send any medical queries by email, it is not possible to manage your medical issue this way and all such emails will be returned. This is also to protect YOUR medical data.
