Dr. Orla McCormack

Orla is one of the two founding members of The Parks Medical Centre. She qualified from UCG in 1983 and worked In hospital medicine until the birth of her first Child Seamus in 1989. During this time Orla also obtained her Diploma in Paediatrics and her Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Between 1989 and the opening of the Parks in 1994, Orla was a full time mother to Anna and Seamus. Orla did evening work in a family practice in Drumcondra, being the female element of the practice. During this time she did her Membership exam of the ICGP. Since 1994, Orla has worked full time at the Parks, taking a very short break for the birth of her third child Megan in 1996.

Orla is interested in all areas of General practice. She also has a keen interest in the development of the practice.
